Filipinos are being recognized all over the world for showing breathtaking talents. What makes it more amazing is these Filipinos are proud to be a 'pinoy'.
On Saturday's 'The X Factor UK' episode, a Filipino woman showed off her talent and got a "yes" from all 4 of the reality shows' judges.
Gaga Lord, a name fit for a star is a 40-year-old woman who works in a primary school's cafeteria. She sang Shirley Bassey’s Diamonds Are Forever, the theme song to the James Bond film of the same name.
As Gaga Lord sings a few lines, Simon Cowell had a little fun and asked fellow judges, Nicole Scherzinger and Alesha Dixon, to stand behind Lord and imitate the film’s title sequence.
When asked what her dream is, the contestant said: “To be honest with you, singing in front of you, to be honest. This is already a dream.”
Gaga Lord, got more of what she deserves. Cowell, Scherzinger, Dixon, and fourth judge Louis Walsh liked her performance and appreciated her voice and overall attitude.
"You have a really big voice. It’s really robust,” Scherzinger said. Dixon called her a “force of nature.”
Lord will move on to boot camp round, the next level in the competition.
